Baa! (Tile-based Board Game)

This is an intriguing board game about “enclosure”. Players take turns to place their own fences onto the triangular or hexagonal tiles (depends on different versions), once the fences are connected and form an enclosed area, the player who contributes the highest amount of fences is the owner of it, and scores according to the number of sheep within it.

There are three rules of using the fences to form an enclosed area. First, there must be at least one sheep and one house within the enclosed area, if an area lacks the sheep or the house or both, it is considered an illegal enclosed area. Second, the fences cannot be placed alongside the tree. Third, a fence cannot be placed inside an existing enclosed area.

Once an enclosed area is formed, the player who contributes the highest amount of fences is the owner of it. If two or more players contribute both the highest and the same amount of fences to form the area, they are all owners of it. Once an enclosed area is formed, the owner scores immediately according to the number of sheep within the area.

In the basic version of rules, each sheep represents one score. If the sheep is next to the bush(s), that sheep represents two scores. In the advanced version of rules, the white sheep represents three scores, the gray sheep represents two scores and the black sheep represents one score. If the sheep is next to the bush(s), that sheep represents one more score.
