Take The Stairs Please (Posters On Elevator Doors)
These tall posters, installed on elevator doors at ground level, were designed to attract attention and encourage people to take the stairs instead of the elevator for once, as a playful mini-exhibition occupies the stairwell area. The three photograph collections ”Climbing”, ”Falling”, and ”Shooted” were created for this exhibition, with the last one ultimately selected for display.
Because the posters were placed on the elevator doors and made the elevator appear fully occupied, people initially thought the elevator was unavailable and were disappointed. However, when they discovered the posters, they were thoroughly amused.
After the posters were removed when their authorized display period ended, the university ordered them reinstalled regardless of the regulation—because the posters were so effective and an important group of foreign visitors was coming. The university wanted to make the best impression by showcasing this creative work.
