Bunnyian Space Adventure (Laser Cutting Product)

 

This series of photographs was created for promotional posters (print) and e-card advertising (digital) for my creative product “Bunnyian Space Adventure.” The product consists of untitled objects that can be used in any way the user chooses.

 

The product is made by Medium Density Fiberboard (wood) with laser cutting technology.

 

To prepare the data for laser cutting, I use Adobe Illustrator and SketchUp to create looped vector lines that define the object outlines, then convert the files to AutoCAD format. The most exciting moment comes when the high-energy laser cuts through the fiberboard, transforming it into beautifully formed shapes in an instant.
