The Beautiful Chinese Vase (Interactive Installation)

”The Beautiful Chinese Vase” is an interactive installation where physical components and digital content work together seamlessly. By combining modern technology with classic Chinese elements, we present the unique Chinese concept of “Chi-Hsiang” in a simple, elegant way.

 

When viewers wave their hands at the digital painting on the wall, the “Chi-Hsiang” animals are disturbed and leave their perches. They then approach the vase and settle there, completing a beautiful arrangement of “Chi-Hsiang” creatures. “Chi-Hsiang” is a unique Chinese cultural concept associated with luck, good fortune, and wonder.

 

We aim to convey its essence while offering a visually satisfying experience. Using motion sensors, webcams, and projection mapping, the boundary between physical elements and digital animation dissolves. Forget about the technical details—just enjoy this engaging interactive installation!
