“Mad Evolution” is an interactive installation with physical components and digital contents work together seamlessly. You can manipulate the evolution process of life in any way you want, and witness how different the outcomes are with an unforgettably amusing experience.

 

This game re-introduce players the evolution process of life on Earth through a timeline-based interactive information system with attractive 3D cartoon characters, which represent the monumental creatures of geological eras of the planet Earth.

 

Grab a physical model on the table and put it anywhere you want on the timeline, and you will see the icon turns into a specific character on the screen once it’s settled, and the percentage of the “timeline accuracy” has changed because of some unpredictable funny geological events. Now, feel free to be a temporary God and see what will happen if you mess around the timeline of evolution!

 

By using the modern technologies of motion sensors and webcams, the boundary of physical instruments and digital animation and information suddenly vanishes just like it never exists. Forget about the boring and user-unfriendly textbooks of natural science, just have fun with this easy-to-understand educational game!
