There are twenty mosaic images in total in the game “P.R.O.B.E.”, which are originally separated small pieces in the levels of the game, and they require players to solve the puzzle to show up. Besides the purpose of extra fun in this game, these images are also the clues of the mystery of the whole background story.

Four themes of these images are: Tech specification diagrams, scientific educational drawings, blackboard sketches and blue prints of five probes. Tech specification diagrams introduce the laboratory components in a scientific perspective. Scientific educational drawings are retro-styled graphics in order to elaborate the scientific facts. Blackboard sketches are the doodles made by the human scientists in the laboratory. Blue prints of five probes show the major components—such as the temporal core and the sub-space antenna—of all five generations of probe.
